  • Can I order alcohol?
    "Dine Delivered ™ will not sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. By placing an order, whether that order includes alcohol or not, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. The recipient must also be over 18 years of age. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the products is unable to produce appropriate ID, our couriers will be unable to leave the products. Once the products have been delivered, according to your original delivery instructions, they become the recipient's responsibility."
  • How do I choose my food?
    "The website will ask you a few questions about your event and your food style. It will then make a suggestion of a menu for you. You can then tweak the dishes if you like by using the options button on the menu page. You can also add on any special diets you may need to cater for."
  • Why can’t I order food for the exact number I need?
    "Our dishes are cooked in multiples of 2, or 10 in the case of canapés. The exception is items made for special diets, which are cooked in single units. This enables us to give you better value, by reducing the number of stock and packaging items we need to hold. It also means you will have backups in case of unexpected or extra hungry guests!"
  • Do I need to be able to cook?
    "All our dishes are ranked with forks for how easy they are to prepare and serve- 1 fork means the dish is ready to go just lift off the lid, 4 forks means there is a bit of cooking required. All the difficult work has been done by our trained chefs, so even a 4 fork won’t be too tricky for you to serve to your guests. We provide full instructions sheets and there are handy tips on our website too. If you get really stuck, just call us and we’ll talk you through it!"
  • What do the fork ratings mean?
    All our dishes are rated for how much preparation they need to be ready to serve to your guests. So: O ne fork. This dish needs less than 5 minutes kitchen time and needs no cooking equipment. Two Forks. This dish requires 5-15 minutes kitchen time and some dishes may need cooking equipment. Three Forks. This dish requires 15-30 minutes kitchen time and may need cooking equipment. Four Forks. This dish requires more than 30 minutes kitchen time and will need cooking equipment. All the hard work has been done by our trained chefs, so even on our 4 fork items there is nothing that a moderately confident person can’t do. And we provide full instruction sheets as well as handy tips on our website
  • How long will the food last?
    "We recommend using the food within 48 hours. Please keep all the dishes in the refrigerator for freshness." How many canapés do I need for my party? "For a canapé party of 3 hours, we would recommend 8-10 bites for each guest. If you are having canapés before a meal, then 3 or 4 per guest is what we’d recommend."
  • Can I order food for children?
    "Absolutely! You can order a separate children’s party menu, or add additional children’s menu items to your existing menu."
  • Dine Delivered ™'s Allergen Policy Allergens are shown on the ingredients section on the website
    menu. They are also shown in bold on the ingredients label of each specific dish. In the case of allergies we cannot guarantee that any item will be free of any specified allergens. Dine Delivered ™ and its associated operating companies will never offer an undertaking that anything served will be entirely free of any allergen. Please do not rely on any information, verbal or otherwise to the contrary. Dine Delivered ™ has a robust HACCP policy which obviously aims to minimize the risk of cross contamination and therefore prevent the inadvertent presence of allergens in our products. However, because of the varied and bespoke nature of our menus and therefore production methods and suppliers, we can never offer an absolute guarantee. If you have any doubts about the suitability of a dish, please check the ingredients labels.
  • Dine Delivered ™ Special Diets Policy To help you in selecting appropriate dishes for you and your guests we identify dishes as being suitable for particular
    diets. We have done this as follows: Vegetarian. Dishes labelled Vegetarian contain no meat, fish, animal rennet or gelatine. The food may contain eggs, dairy and honey. Vegan. Dishes labelled Vegan contain no products from animal sources. Gluten Free. Dishes labelled Gluten Free contain no ingredients containing gluten. Please note these foods are NOT made in an exclusively gluten-free environment. Dairy Free. Dishes labelled Dairy Free contain no dairy or dairy derivatives. Halal Permissible. Dishes labelled Halal Permissible contain only Halal ingredients. For this purpose our Halal dishes contain no: Meat (unless certified Halal) Animal products (unless certified Halal) Alcohol- including vanilla essence. Seafood, except fish. Whey products (unless certified Halal) E120 Cochineal. Pork & Shellfish Free. Dishes labelled Pork & Shellfish free contain no pork or pork products and no shellfish. If you have any doubts about the suitability of a dish, please check the ingredients labels.
  • Can I collect my order in person?
    Absolutely. We currently have 1 ‘click and collect’ points in Leeds. Chose this on the delivery page of the website. Our click and collect service in complimentary. - Garden Room Restaurant, The Mansion, Mansion Lane, Leeds. LS8 2HH (ask any member of the Garden Room team) 9am – 5pm 7 days a week – except Christmas day, Boxing day & New Year’s Day
  • Can I specify the delivery time?
    "Unfortunately, we are not currently able to do this. You will specify your chosen delivery day and they are on their way. We strongly recommend that you choose a delivery date the day prior to your event. This will allow time to rectify any delivery issues. Dine Delivered ™’s Local Free delivery is between 4.30pm and 6.30pm to your nominated address. If you need an alternate time or for your items to be stored elsewhere in chilled packaging this can be arrange for our standard delivery charge of £15. You can of course choose to collect your order from one of our ‘Click & Collect’ venues in Roundhay at no cost."
  • Is your packaging recyclable?
    Over 90% of our packaging is either reusable, recyclable or compostable, and we are working with our suppliers towards making all of our packaging environmentally friendly. Individual product information can be found on the product labels. Our gel packs are produced from 100% recyclable low density polyethylene film. Please feel free to re-freeze your ice packs and enjoy on your next picnic! Your outer box and foil lining is made from recyclable materials and are manufactured in the UK

    We strongly recommend that you choose a delivery date the day prior to your event. This will allow time to rectify any delivery issues. Dine Delivered ™’s Local Free delivery is between 4.30pm and 6.30pm to your nominated address. If you need an alternate time or for your items to be stored elsewhere in chilled packaging this can be arrange for our standard delivery charge of £15. You can of course choose to collect your order from one of our ‘Click & Collect’ venue in Roundhay at no cost. In Periods of High Demand we may choose to deliver the day previously
  • How will my order be delivered?
    "Your order will be packaged and, depending on area and complexity, delivered either by one of our dedicated Dine Delivered ™ drivers, or by a partner courier. We strongly recommend that you choose a delivery date the day prior to your event. This will allow time to rectify any delivery issues."
  • What happens if I’m not in for the delivery?
    "We strongly recommend that you choose a delivery date the day prior to your event. This will allow time to rectify any delivery issues. You must tell us where we can deliver your order to. If there will be no one available to take delivery, you must tell us a safe place to leave your delivery, e.g. with a neighbour. Our chilled packaging will keep your order fresh without refrigeration until delivered. Dine Delivered ™’s Local Free delivery is between 4.30pm and 6.30pm to your nominated address. If you need an alternate time or for your items to be stored elsewhere in chilled packaging this can be arrange for our standard delivery charge of £15. You can of course choose to collect your order from one of our ‘Click & Collect’ venue in Roundhay at no cost. If we cannot make delivery in accordance with your delivery instructions, we or our agents will endeavor to contact you using the contact details you provide. If however we are still unable to make delivery we will return the products to our production facility. No refund will be made if we are unable to deliver your order. Once we have made delivery according to your delivery instructions, we take no further responsibility for the products."
  • Do you deliver in my area?
    "We deliver across the UK mainland with the exception of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. We cannot currently deliver outside the UK. You can check whether we deliver to you by typing your postcode into the ‘event location’ page of the website."
  • Can you deliver on Weekends?
    "Yes, we certainly can deliver on Saturday & Sundays although the delivery costs may be a little higher. This option will be shown on the website check out page"
  • How will my order be packaged?
    Your order will be packaged in dishes ready to be served or heated in, as far as possible. The order will arrive to you in a chilled box to ensure the freshness of your produce.
  • How Quickly can I get my order?
    "Our produce are bought fresh and our chefs need time to prepare the dishes. All dishes are available on our 4 day service. Some items can be delivered to you in 24 hours. Our website will show you these dishes when you enter your delivery date. For large events we would recommend ordering with at least 4 weeks to spare! Ordering Cut off times 24 hour service - local delivery or click & collect order cut off time is 2.00pm the day prior to delivery day - National Delivery order cut off time is 10.00am the day prior to delivery 4 day service - local delivery or click & collect order cut off time is 2.00pm 4 days day prior to delivery day - National Delivery order cut off time is 10.00am 4 days day prior to delivery day. Your order and payment must be complete by the times stated above"
  • How much will I pay for delivery?
    "The delivery charge is calculated based on the size and weight of your order. The delivery cost will be shown on the payments page once you have selected your order. The average cost of an order is £15 for a small order"
  • How do I return hired equipment?
    Your equipment will be delivered with your food order and you can arrange for it to be collected following the event. We will provide the return packaging and labels.
  • Can I order glasses?
    In Finishing touches, our system also allows you to add glassware, cutlery, china and linen for your event (or you can log-in to your account area and add this at any time up to 8 days before your event). The genius Dine Delivered ™ system will even automatically calculate the correct cutlery and china for you, although feel free to amend this based on your own requirements.
  • Can I order china?
    In Finishing touches, our system also allows you to add glassware, cutlery, china and linen for your event (or you can log-in to your account area and add this at any time up to 8 days before your event).   • Can I order linen?

  • Can I order cutlery?

  • What happens if I break a hire item?
    Please email us as soon as possible on [email protected]. We will make a deduction against your deposit for any broken or missing items. Something has been delivered broken. What do I do? In the unlikely event that you find anything which is damaged or missing on arrival, please take a photo showing this within one hour of receiving your delivery and email to [email protected]. If you don’t inform us of any breakages as they arrive, you will have accepted responsibility for the items.
  • Do I need to pay a deposit for hired equipment?
    There is a £50 refundable deposit which covers breakages & damages of your hired equipment. This will be refunded once the equipment is returned in a satisfactory condition.
  • Can I speak to an Event Manager?
    "If at any point you feel you need an Event Manager to help with organising your event, please phone us on 0800 980 2911. Subject to your requirements, and with your agreement, we may pass your event on to our partner company Dine Events. If we do this, your event will be removed from our website and will be handled by Dine Events. The charging structure for your event will then be decided by you and your Event Manager."
  • How many staff should I book?
    "This depends on the nature of your event! As a very rough guide, one member of waiting staff per 20 guests is a good place to start; a more formal event would require more. If you need guidance, please phone us on 0800 980 2911."
  • Do I need to wash the linen?
    "No. Please just pop the linen into the linen return bags and send them back to us."
  • Do I need to wash the china?
    Please return all equipment cleaned.
  • Do I need to wash the glasses?
    Please return all equipment cleaned.
  • Can I book staff?
    The great news is that the ‘Indeed Flex’ service enables you to hire staff for your event directly. You decide what staff you want and what hours you will need them. Indeed Flex will then offer the shifts to available staff in your area. Indeed Flex is a great service, but they don’t guarantee to fill your shift, especially if you are in remote areas or want staff for very short hours or during peak hours. However, their app is great and will keep you informed as to who has accepted a shift and their details. Please note that Dine Delivered ™ does not manage this service – you will have an entirely separate agreement with Indeed Flex.
  • When should I get my order delivered?
    "We recommend having your order delivered the day before your event if you have refrigerationspace. That way will have the food in plenty of time for your event"
  • How Quickly can I get my order?
    The majority of our produce are bought fresh and our chefs need time to prepare the dishes. Most dishes can be booked on our 4 day service. Many items can be delivered to you in 48 hours. Our website will show you these dishes when you enter your delivery date. For large events we would recommend ordering with at least 4 weeks to spare!

  • What’s the minimum order value?
    "The minimum order value is £100 excluding delivery . You can order anything from a meal for two to a wedding buffet for 200"
  • How do I edit my personal information?
    Once you are registered, you can edit your personal information, manage your address book and change your payment details in the “My Account” page in your application. Event details can be saved and can be used as defaults to speed up your next order.
  • Do I need an oven?
    "Dishes which need an oven are noted on their preparation card on the website. If you don’t have access to full kitchen facilities, we recommend either choosing only 1 fork items, or you can contact us to hire in mobile kitchens at an additional cost. Call us on 0800 980 2911 or email lovefood @dinedelivered.co.uk ."
  • My order didn’t arrive, can I have a refund?
    "If we failed to delivery your order, we will offer you an appropriate refund. However we will not refund you if we were unable to make delivery due to incorrect or incomplete delivery instructions, or if there was nowhere we could reasonably have left the delivery."
  • My order arrived damaged, can I have a refund?
    "If your order arrives damaged, please take a photo of your order and email it to us at [email protected] within 1 hour of delivery . If your order was not as it should have been, we will offer you an appropriate refund."
  • My order was missing items, can I have a refund?
    "If your order is missing items, please take a photo of your order and email it to us on [email protected] within 1 hour of delivery . If your order was not as it should have been, we will offer you an appropriate refund."
  • Can I speak to an Event Manager?

  • Can I open a corporate account?
    "Dine Delivered ™ do offer a corporate account facility. This account may be one of two types; a prepay account, or a credit account. Corporate prepay account are to be settled in advance of your order being delivered. Payment can be made by BACS at least 4 working days before your delivery date. Credit accounts are available to corporate clients who order a minimum of £1000 per month and are to be paid by BACS within 30 days of your delivery date. All accounts are subject to credit checks and references,"
  • How do I pay?
    "You make payment through our website when you place your order. Payments can be made via paypal or our online payment system which accepts all major debit and credit cards"
  • What are the Cut Off times for placing an order?
    You can place an order as far in advance as you like, however if you would like your order to be delivered within the next 5 days please take note of the cut off times below. 24 hour service - local delivery or click & collect order cut off time is 2.00pm the day prior to delivery day - National Delivery order cut off time is 10.00am the day prior to delivery 4 day service - local delivery or click & collect order cut off time is 2.00pm 4 days day prior to delivery day - National Delivery order cut off time is 10.00am 4 days day prior to delivery day. Your order and payment must be complete by the times stated above
  • Can I change my guest numbers?
    "You can change your guest numbers in the 'My Account' on the website, subject to availability of the products, up to 2pm 7 days before delivery. If your amendment reduces the cost of your order, 15 days or more from your delivery date we will we make a refund of the difference, to the card you used for the original payment. 14 – 8 days before delivery a 50% refund of the decreased value will be given. 7 days or less no refund will be given."
  • Can I amend an order?
    "You can amend an order in the 'My Account' on the website, subject to availability of the products, up to 2pm 7 days before delivery. If your amendment reduces the cost of your order, will we make a refund of the difference, to the card you used for the original payment."

  • Can I cancel an order?
    "You have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 2pm 14 days before the delivery date without giving any reason. To cancel your order, you must inform us by email to lovefood @dinedelivered.co.uk . If you cancel an order before the cut-off point of 2pm 14 days prior, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery. If you cancel an order after the cut-off point of 2pm 14 days prior , but more than 7 days before delivery date, we may make a deduction from the reimbursement of up to 50%. If you cancel an order less than 2pm 7 days before the delivery date, we may make a deduction from the reimbursement of up to 100%."
